We’ve been fans of the crispy fries from Frites Atelier Amsterdam right from the start. And they keep surprising us, because recently Sergio Herman not only launched new flavor combinations for his fries, but also gave the good old croquette a makeover. But there’s more good news!

Sergio’s burger

Sergio has come up with new flavors for Frites Atelier’s Crispy Chicken Burger. This burger combines the very best Asian flavors, such as chili-garlic, fresh marinated ginger, miso powder, wasabi mayonnaise and shiso leaf, between a tasty bun and a crispy-coated burger made with tender chicken.

Veggie burger

For those who would rather not have meat in their bun, there’s another—and certainly just as delicious—alternative: the Very Veggie Aubergine is a crispy aubergine burger with a combination of aioli and harissa, a fresh pickle mix and finely sliced pointed cabbage. If you ask me, you certainly don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy this immensely!

So how much does it cost?

Due to the stricter coronavirus measures, the nearest Frites Atelier is currently closed, but as soon as it’s possible, I’ll be rattling the door to get in! The (Dutch) prices for all this deliciousness: Crispy Chicken Burger: €13.50 and Very Veggie Aubergine: €13.
