Michelin-starred restaurant De Nederlanden is coming to your door with a deluxe SRV van
Recently, the Shop on Wheels stopped by FavorFlav’s Sharon. Now, alongside this mobile supermarket, there is another SRV van that parks the most delicious dishes and other products outside your home. From next week, Michelin-starred restaurant De Nederlanden will be going door to door with its own dishes and luxury products.
SRV originally stands for Samen Rationeel Verkopen (Selling Rationally Together). But in this case, SRV stands for Sterrenchef Rijdt Voor (Star Chef Drives Up). From 23 January, De Nederlanden is coming to you! The SRV van has been given a new lease of life and is driving around in the most luxurious version you can imagine.
Michelin-starred dishes at home
Under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Wilco Berends, the most incredible Michelin-level dishes are prepared at restaurant De Nederlanden. And now you can order these very dishes—you only have to step outside to walk to the SRV van and pick up your meal.
What can you expect? Starters such as scallops and duck liver pâté, and main courses such as brill fillet with anchovy butter and veal cheeks. Wilco and his team have prepared everything; all you have to do at home is put the finishing touches to it.
The routes
As well as dishes, you can also buy other top-quality ingredients from restaurant De Nederlanden on wheels. From friandises to charcuterie and from alcohol-free gin to the finest champagne—in short, everything you need to make a Michelin-starred dinner complete. Restaurant De Nederlanden’s SRV van will follow different routes on 22, 23, 29 and 30 January, mainly in Vreeland and the surrounding municipalities. On the restaurant’s website, you can check whether the van will also pass through your street and place an order.
