Morning! This is the coffee machine of your dreams
I’ve never been a morning person and I’m afraid I never will be. It’s just not in me. I hate getting up and for years I insisted that I ‘definitely didn’t have a morning mood’, but I have to take that back… What does help: good coffee. And now I’ve found the perfect coffee machine for that. And believe me, this coffee machine really is a game changer.
The only lifehack for a bad morning mood — and everyone who struggles with this can confirm it — is that nobody talks to you (sorry!) and that you make things as easy as possible for yourself in the morning. And this coffee machine does exactly that.

My new coffee machine, The Morning Machine (you can also get it in black), can really do everything. It’s a beauty, too — the design was even awarded a Red Dot Product Design Award. And even better: Nespresso cups fit in it. But let’s be honest, this machine has so much more to offer than a standard Nespresso machine. Leon Foo, the founder of Morning and a true coffee fanatic, wanted to create a coffee machine that would allow you to make coffee of the best quality as with professional machines, but in capsule form.
Different coffee recipes
And he has succeeded brilliantly. The machine comes with ten different coffee recipes. What makes The Morning Machine unique is that all the capsule recipes come from baristas from all over the world. You can drink coffee created by a local barista from South Korea, but also by a barista from Antwerp, for example. So yes, you can use your regular Nespresso cups, but also many other cups (you can order those other cups here).
This app makes everything so much easier
But what I like most of all is that you can control the machine with an app. With the app, you can adjust the pressure, temperature and amount of coffee to suit your preferences — all features that regular capsule machines don’t have. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with all kinds of different cups and types of coffee — from cappuccino and Dirty Chai latte to Slow Drip coffee.
I’ve also recently started using matcha cups (highly recommended!), so I make a matcha latte every day. Ideal, because you can save all your preferences in the app connected to the coffee machine. And don’t think this appliance is complicated; my retired father has mastered it by now too and has his own regular recipe whenever he comes over for coffee.
So yes, this really is the coffee machine of your dreams — I’d say, treat yourself to it. Even if you don’t have a morning mood.
