Old Amsterdam has launched a cheese burger, and you can choose from several flavours

A cheese burger with a crispy edge and a gooey centre, beam me up! Old Amsterdam has now added it to its range, in two flavours: a plain ‘Tasty Grill’ cheese burger and a Sweet Chili version.

Old Amsterdam often comes up with great spin-offs of its regular cheese. Such as the Old Amsterdam cheese croquette, cheese sticks with Old Amsterdam and last but not least: the Old Amsterdam bitterballen. They’re seriously top-notch.

And now there’s a cheese burger, too. A pack contains two burgers (for 3.99 euros), and they’re best cooked on the barbecue or grill. Simply serve them on a bun with some grilled vegetables, in a wrap with some salsa and avocado, or sliced into strips through a salad.
And for those who like things a little spicier, there’s the Sweet Chili version. That sounds ideal to me after a night out.
The Tasty Grill cheese burgers are available at Jumbo, Plus, Hoogvliet, Spar, Boon and Poiesz, and from the beginning of July also at Albert Heijn.
