Ready in 20 Minutes is the title of the popular cooking series on culinary channel njam. Next season, a new series of episodes is scheduled, featuring among others one of FavorFlav’s favorites, Michiel van der Eerde of BAUT.

You may know his dishes from his BAUT book, which features BAUT classics such as ceviche in tiger’s milk with coconut soup, veal entrecôte with red wine sauce, dahsi popcorn and BAUT’s legendary steak tartare.

Maximum 7 ingredients

In Ready in 20 Minutes, TV chefs are challenged to make a dish within 20 minutes using a maximum of 7 ingredients. Original recipes, but very easy and quick to make. Intended for busy days when you don’t have time to spend hours in the kitchen. The recordings are broadcast in full, without any cutting and pasting. And that works well, because if something goes wrong with the chefs in the TV kitchen, you as the viewer get to witness it too.

On TV and online

Starting September 6, njam! will broadcast new episodes in the Netherlands every week. From Monday through Thursday. A new episode every day. Broadcast at 5:30 p.m. (with reruns at 8:40 p.m. and 11: 00 p.m.). Njam! is broadcast on channel 39 (via KPN’s basic package), and all episodes can also be watched as video streams via www.njam.tv.

Ready in a flash

The recipes Michiel makes in the series include: Jerusalem artichoke with ricotta and watercress; salmon fillet with baby potato chips and Thai beef salad with mango.

Book

In addition to a second season, the book Ready in 20 Minutes is now also available. The book contains 100 inspiring recipes that you can easily make at home in 20 minutes, with a maximum of 7 ingredients per dish.
