Recipe: Aloha summerbody cocktail

From Old Fashioned to Margarita and from Passionfruit Fix to a Paloma. Tess Posthumus’s Cocktail Bible is packed with more than 200 cocktail recipes, with and without alcohol (you should definitely try making this Happy Toi cocktail, it’s delicious!) The bible is divided into the different flavors of cocktails, such as fresh, floral, sour and spicy. This way, you can immediately make the cocktail you’re in the mood for at that moment. This Aloha summerbody cocktail bursts with tropical flavors such as coconut, pineapple and lime.

Tess: “I came up with this cocktail when I was visiting friends in Hawaii in 2013. Coconut water was a favorite among athletes and people with hangovers at the time, because it was believed to help with fluid absorption. It’s also often thought that vodka contains fewer calories than other spirits, so logically it is the base for this cocktail. After all, when you’re working on that perfect summer body, this cocktail helps enormously. Not really, though. Hi and bye summerbody!”
