Snackspert: loempidel is the snack that should be sold in many more places

Instagram phenomenon @snackspert, known in mayonnaise as Eke Bosman, tells you where to get the best snacks, from shoarmarol to lihanboutje. This week, he once again ate a rare loempidel. Along with an immediate appeal: please put more loempidels on the menu, snack bars!

The loempidel
The loempidel really is a snack that, in my opinion, should appear in veeeeeeeery many more places. I had to go all the way to Amstelveen myself to get one from @pshetparool, namely at Carels Cafetaria. A charming place housed in some kind of large trailer (just Google it), and they certainly know how to fry. So what exactly is the loempidel? This snack is fundamentally different from the familiar viandel, because the loempidel has a spring-roll coating, and inside there’s a sauce reminiscent of the sweet and mild variety of hoisin sauce. The result: a very tasty frikandel. It’s just a shame that this loempidel is so thin, because this little pleasure sausage really benefits from being nice and thick. Yum. So yes, what would I recommend? Try to find out whether the loempidel is available near you, because you really have to try it at least once. Just like everyone should see The Lion King at least once. Or Frozen. Or that one Dutch rom-com that looks like another one, which also looks like yet another one. Anyway. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
