Special World Cup pizzas: with frikandel or kale

Well, I don’t really know what to make of this World Cup. In any case, I don’t like the fact that it’s being held in winter, and choosing Qatar is of course incomprehensible. But still, every time it comes around, it’s inevitably something that brands and supermarkets enthusiastically get to work on. Maybe a little too enthusiastically?

At any rate, that’s the only explanation I can think of for Vomar’s new pizzas. Real World Cup pizzas. To support Holland. So what do you do? Exactly: you make an Italian product (the pizza) as Dutch as possible. Makes sense.
Frikandel pizza or kale pizza, anyone?
Those are indeed the two new pizzas. Let me present you with a delicious version featuring pieces of frikandel, red onion, mayonnaise and aged cheese. Hmmm! Or are we going for the version with kale and smoked sausage? You’ll have to make the gravy yourself, though. They cost just € 4.99.
I’ve already said what I think about ruining this Italian divine creation, but I have to admit… I really do want to try this. There must (I assume) be a whole test panel behind this that sampled it en masse at Vomar’s head office — and apparently approved it. Now I’d like to experience for myself whether this really belongs on the shelves.
But I have a feeling that Snackspert will test this for us too. Very curious about his rating.
