Because for something sweet, comforting and delicious, you sometimes don’t need to pull out all the stops at all. Get a bunch of bananas, organic or fair-trade if possible, and wait until they’re nice and ripe. (You can also give the ripening process a helping hand, you know.) Then switch on the Airfryer and before long you’ll have a simple yet lovely dessert—or just a delicious snack—on the table!

How to make caramelized bananas from the Airfryer

  • Preheat the Airfryer to 175° C.
  • Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and use a brush to coat them with a little neutral oil.
  • Sprinkle coconut blossom sugar (or regular sugar) over them and bake for 12 minutes, until beautifully golden brown.

Absolutely delicious with something healthy like oatmeal, but also fantastic as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream. This croissant ice cream, for example—how could you resist?!
