Tabasco launches a new hot sauce

Hot news! After its own sriracha, Tabasco is launching another new sauce: Tabasco Rocoto. A mildly spicy red sauce with a hint of sweetness.

South American hotness
The Rocoto sauce is made with the Peruvian pepper (capsicum pubescens) from the Andes Mountains. This pepper is one of the most widely used ingredients in Peruvian cuisine. The pepper has the shape of a small apple, making it easy to distinguish from the other spicy ones.
Mildly spicy
Unlike Tabasco Habanero and Scorpion sauce, Rocoto is fairly mild. So, no sweat-inducing scenes. How come? The pepper blend is mixed with maple syrup, a splash of original Tabasco and spices such as cinnamon and cardamom. In short: the perfect flavor enhancer for your salads, roasted meat or even fresh fruit.

Take note!
Are you also such a Tabasco fan that you simply have to try this new variant? Then be quick, because Tabasco Rocoto sauce is available in limited quantities and only here.
