The best tip for a Friday drinks party at home: order a cheese board with beer
The Cheese Bar in Amsterdam recently opened, and we told you why it’s a very good idea to visit at some point. But now that Cheese Bar Amsterdam is temporarily closed because of coronavirus, the Cheese Bar is coming to you!
The cheese train
The fun thing about Cheese Bar Amsterdam is the so-called ‘cheese train’. Think of a sushi train where you take sushi from the conveyor belt, but with cheese. What do you do when the beer stops flowing from the tap and the cheese train comes to a halt? This perfect combination simply comes your way!
The guys from Cheese Bar Amsterdam have joined forces with the women from Gebrouwen Door Vrouwen and put together a package for 2 people, to make your drinks-at-home experience as delicious as possible.
Beer with your cheese
For each cheese, the owners, assisted by beer sommeliers, have created special pairings that go well with the flavour of the cheese. This means you can drink the perfect beer with every cheese for an ultimate taste experience. The package contains 4 different top-quality Dutch cheeses from the Cheese Bar, including pairings and toast, half a Brandt&Levie truffle sausage and 4 beers from Gebrouwen Door Vrouwen. Put on an episode of Rail Away in the background to recreate the train feeling.
