The coolest restaurants in the Netherlands
These are the most stylish bars, restaurants and hotels of 2018. At least according to the professional jury of the annual Entree Awards.
Every year, the Dutch hospitality industry throws its own party. A stylish gala party where hospitality heavyweights from across the country wait in suspense to find out who will go home with the coveted Entree Awards. An award for the professional hospitality industry, by the professional hospitality industry. Prizes are awarded in no fewer than fourteen categories. The most stylish restaurant, the coolest cocktail bar, the best baristas and bartenders, the most original clubs and hospitality concepts, and more.
Eindhoven
This year once again brought surprising winners (and one or two notable losers). The award for best restaurant design surprisingly went to De Restauratie, the completely renovated station restaurant at Eindhoven railway station, restored to its former glory. A notable winner in two categories (Next Generation and Next Nightlife): Chin Chin Club. The sustainable design hotel QO Hotel (number 77 in the FavorFlav Food Top 100 of 2018) was nominated in two categories (Best Hotel Design and Best Hotel Concept), but missed out on the award both times. FavorFlav friend Tess Posthumus received a very well-deserved award for Best Cocktail Bar for her Flying Dutchmen Cocktails.
