The Ferrero Rocher of your dreams is at Aldi in December

Most dreams are illusions, Borsato sang, but not this one, because during the festive season Aldi has a huge half-kilo Ferrero Rocher in its range. Imagine such a delicious, shiny Ferrero Rocher, but ten times bigger and forty times heavier. The only downside: it’s in England.

Candy is delicious, so bigger candy is very delicious. It can be that simple. Just think of Toblerone: you can eat those small pieces of Toblerone or treat yourself to a whole bar, but there are also those gi-gan-tic bars at the airport, as big as a toddler. And of course that one is gi-gan-tically delicious! The same goes for Daim, those rock-hard caramel candies with chocolate that you can buy at Ikea, among other places. I mean: hello, Daim cake! Brilliant!
Insane Christmas dinner
Mega Ferrero Rocher didn’t exist before, and whoever came up with it deserves a big promotion from the company, because the idea is insane. A large, spherical cake, probably with ice cream – because it comes from Aldi’s freezer section, according to the press release – lots of chocolate and nuts: isn’t that the perfect way to finish your Christmas dinner? Come on, England, send some of those things to the Netherlands too!
