The McDonald’s items we want back
My love for the Golden Arches, also known as McDonald’s, is immense. I regularly fantasize about opening a franchise myself — but in my own way, of course. I would simply keep all the items I like on the menu.
Because honestly: Maccie has made a few mistakes in that regard. The items below were once on the menu, but were (completely unjustly) kicked off it. McDonald’s: we want them back!
1. The McRib
Yes, Snackspert personally made sure that we all desperately want this one back. And that the first stop in Germany is Maccie; because they still have it there. Jealous.
2. Szechuan sauce
Thanks to Rick & Morty, this sauce made a comeback, even though it was already no longer available at McDonald’s locations by then. In America, it returned very briefly not too long ago — and immediately caused riots at all the locations. Unfortunately, this sauce has never been available in the Netherlands — so cheeky of Maccie.
3. Chicken Wings
I absolutely love chicken wings; they are genuinely my favorite snack, so you can imagine how disappointed I am that McDonald’s doesn’t have them as a standard item. And when they do bring them back for a short time, they don’t come with Blue Cheese sauce. What a shame.
4. Mac Jr.
Wasn’t this just so ideal? If the Big Mac was a little too big for you, you simply ordered the Mac Jr. Same taste, but smaller. And if you wanted more than just the Big Mac, there was the Grande Big Mac. It’s a real shame they’re no longer around.
2. Onion Nuggets
I never actually tasted these myself, but they sound incredibly delicious. Why have they never made a comeback? Maccie, are you reading this?
