We all know that 2020 wasn’t exactly the best year. Luckily, the delicious delivery boxes from restaurants and bottles of wine managed to get us through this crappy year. But what would 2020 have looked like if it had been a burger? Fast-food chain Burger King summed up the year perfectly in a burger—and yes, of course it’s inedible!
The 2020 Burger
Brazilian Burger King decided to use the past year as inspiration for a new, not-so-tasty burger. Because if there’s one thing 2020 wasn’t, it was tasty. With the help of Burger King fans in Brazil, who were asked what 2020 would look like if it were a burger, this 2020 horror burger quickly came into existence.
The burger, which was revealed in a video on YouTube, consists of a whole chicken leg, noodles boiled to mush, sardines, caramel sauce and Jell-O jelly (you know, that gelatin pudding), served on a burnt bun.
Real or fake?
Were you already desperately looking for a sick bucket? No need! Burger King Brazil has announced that the disgusting burger will not be added to the menu. Now let’s hope that 2021 will be much tastier than last year, that we’ll be spared any more burger surprises for a while, and that we can simply enjoy a (vegan) Whopper.
