TikTok to the rescue
It is yet another trick shared on TikTok. There you will find a range of kitchen hacks, some more useful than others, and judging by the many responses the videos receive, people are absolutely delighted whenever a simple yet effective tip is shared.

Like this tip for reheating rice: place an ice cube on top of the rice, which you put uncovered on a plate in the microwave. Apparently, the ice cube does not melt, so the rice does not become wet or mushy either. It does release steam, though, which reheats the rice in a light and fluffy way. Handy!
