Did you always think cruising was for middle-aged people who jostle each other at the breakfast buffet every morning? Think again! Cruising can be fantastic! Not so long ago, we boarded a culinary cruise and it left us wanting more. Our next destination: the Chef’s Table River Cruise with none other than star chef Joris Bijdendijk on board. Are you coming too?
Three days of fine-dining travel on a luxurious river ship: count us in. Don’t expect any madness like on this largest cruise ship in the world; only 90 foodies can come aboard the Advance from Transcend Cruises.
On the first day, you’ll be welcomed with a cocktail party (this gives me intense Love Boat vibes), and during the journey there will be specially curated menus with premium wine pairings. Doesn’t that sound heavenly?
Chef’s Table River Cruise
You might as well leave your wallet at home, because everything is included during the Chef’s Table River Cruise. From the extensive breakfast to Joris Bijdendijk’s star-studded meals – with additional entertainment. The drinks are included too, including the premium wines and spirits.
The first Chef’s Table river cruise departs on 19 August from the Boompjes in Rotterdam, with Frankfurt am Main as its final destination, where it will dock in the afternoon of 21 August. Michelin-starred chef Joris Bijdendijk (RIJKS* and Wils*) will kick things off during this first river cruise.
