Just like every business in the hospitality industry, caterers are also being hit hard by the coronavirus crisis. Hotmamahot Catering normally brings the summer to life at major festivals such as de Parade and Lowlands. Dutch festivals now have to make way for their takeaway restaurant Hotmamahot 2Go, but believe us: that’s a party too.
Festival food
We at FavorFlav are naturally going to miss one type of festival the most: the food festival. Fortunately, we have the food truck drive-through festival as a bright spot, but we’ll really miss being able to wander around Rollende Keukens, Gent Smaakt or the Kipfestival. We’re skipping the wandering around this year, but fortunately, thanks to Hotmamahot 2Go, we don’t have to miss out on delicious festival food. In collaboration with chef Haukon van Gelder, Hotmamahot provides takeaway meals from Amsterdam-Noord. The menus will focus on the food truck and festival background of both Hotmamahot Catering and Haukon’s Duck Truck. In short: high-level street food.

Besides creativity in its dishes, Hotmamahot always provides fun entertainment at festivals. And why should that change now that we’re required to stay indoors?
