You can now buy smoked sausage beer at HEMA

Following the success of the Lowlander Tompouce Ale, HEMA has brewed a new beer: Rookworst Weizen. And you guessed it, this Weizen is the perfect beer to enjoy with HEMA smoked sausage.

For this unique beer, HEMA teamed up with brewer vandeStreek. vandeStreek is a Utrecht-based brewery founded by two brothers whom you can wake up in the middle of the night to brew beer, because they enjoy it so much. They’re also happy to put their hands to work for a drinkable tribute to the shiny, juicy sausage.

Weizen is a German wheat beer with a full, creamy head, served in large glasses. Rookworst Weizen naturally has aromas of wheat, as well as grains and, of course, a pleasant smoky flavor. The latter comes from the use of smoked malt.

Rookworst Weizen is available via Hema.nl and at almost all HEMA stores in the Netherlands, and costs €2.50 per can.
