Partied, drank too much. And oh dear, you have a hangover. You want something to eat. Here’s the best hangover food. Think: grilled cheese sandwiches, hotdogs, pasta and breakfast pizzas. Think of it as a blessing for your hangover.

Bacon grilled cheese
This grilled cheese sandwich is extremely delicious and extremely salty.

Breakfast pizza
Pizza. With a runny egg yolk. Exactly.

Oeuf en cocotte en bloody Mary
Okay, this takes half an hour to make. But then you’ve got something. After this breakfast, you can head straight back to the pub. And the recipe is from Guus Meeuwis—you sang along to him at the top of your lungs on the bar last night, remember?

Louisiana-style hotdogs
Making this hotdog takes some effort. But if you follow this recipe, you’ll end up with a combination of gooey cheese, crispy bacon and spicy coleslaw.

Chocolate fudge with peanut butter
For those with a sweet tooth. You literally make this in 5 minutes. However, after preparing it, the fudge needs to chill in the fridge for three hours. So if you already know you’re going to get very drunk, make it before you go out partying.

Cacio e pepe
This pasta is the easiest pasta ever. Fast, warm, cheesy, delicious.

Croque in the hole
A grilled cheese sandwich with a hole in it, with a fried egg in the hole.

Monte Cristo sandwich
A combination of a croque and French toast.

Cuban sandwich
The ultimate sandwich for pork lovers.

Grilled banana bread with fruit
Buy a good banana bread (making it yourself is too much effort when you’re hungover) and top it like this.

Breakfast burrito
A little more work, but it’s worth it. If you really can’t bring yourself to put together this delicious breakfast, you can also get fantastic burritos at Bakers & Roasters in Amsterdam. But then you have to go all the way there.
