Razor-sharp popular: this ice cream helps with a hangover (do you know it yet?)

Did you also squeeze in one last night at the pub this weekend before the whole thing went (crying) into lockdown again? It was undoubtedly great fun, and you didn’t stop at just one Gin and Tonic… But then the next day… a pounding headache and sweaty palms—how do you get rid of that ASAP? Some people swear by this ice cream…

Plenty of scientific research has been conducted into the most successful hangover remedies. Lots of water, a greasy snack, or a recovery drink can all help you get over that raging Limoncello hangover. South Korea is one of the countries in Asia where an enormous amount of alcohol is consumed (Soju!), so a hangover is always lurking. But thanks to the so-called Gyendyo bar, Koreans eat their hangover away with ice cream.
Miracle ice cream
One of the miraculous ingredients in the ice cream, which tastes like grapefruit, is the juice of the Japanese raisin tree, Hovenia dulcis. This juice has been known as a cure for raging hangovers since the 17th century. Earlier tests on rats showed that the juice combats hangover symptoms. Gyendyo literally means hang in there, and with that, the grapefruit ice cream is everything you need after a night of having looked too deeply into the glass.
I propose that we bring this kind of ice cream to the Netherlands as soon as possible. Because eating away a hangover with ice cream—yes, please!
