10x food that’s disgustingly delicious #14

We already announced that this source is the gift that keeps on giving, because everyone loves guilty pleasures after all. The list of things that are simultaneously gross and amazing just keeps growing; hence another installment in the Disgustingly Delicious series—number 14 already!

Even better to slurp down when hungover
Whether it’s canned bami or instant satay noodles: noodle dishes you can eat in no time are all absolute disgustingly delicious hits. Instant pasta carbonara is no exception. Tip: even better when you’re hungover.

No objection to drain cleaner
Here in the editorial office—or at least I’ll admit it—I’m absolutely crazy about canned fruit. Besides the orange-yellow peach halves in syrup, mandarins are also popular. We forget that they were peeled in drain cleaner while eating them, because hello: at least they don’t have those nasty white strings.

Delicious plaque
There are no greasier chips than peanut flips. They leave your hands filthy and about half of the chips sticks to your teeth, but they’re so delicious!

Easy and convenient, right?
Elongated soft sticks with red-and-white coloring, wrapped in plastic: surimi sticks are ideal for sushi rolls or fish cakes. The fact that they’re made from finely pulverized white fish to imitate a crab leg doesn’t bother us at all.

The ultimate treat!
Cut a gooey supermarket cake into slices, spray half a can of whipped cream over it, sprinkle with Smarties and ta-daa: you’ve brought back the ultimate treat from your childhood.

Shamelessly spooning it all out
Duo Penotti is simply incredibly delicious. FavorFlav’s Sharon prefers to spoon an entire jar empty until she feels sick. But besides the classic hazelnut vanilla flavor, the banana coconut Duo Penotti is also a truly disgustingly delicious item—and it gets even better with a few extra banana slices.

British style
Toast dipped in canned baked beans in tomato sauce, mmm! A true British classic that absolutely shouldn’t be missing from a full English breakfast. No, it isn’t classy, but it doesn’t always have to be, right?

Where’s the party? The party’s right here
A well-stocked drinks platter is of course filled with pickles rolled in salami or ham. But pickles rolled in a slice of cheese are the real winners. Be sure to get the party-stick pickles too, because they’re extra suitable as a fingerfood snack.

The more chemical, the better
A newcomer in the category of chemical soft drinks (I’ve been a Cherry Coke fan for years, so you know what kind of person you’re dealing with): ginger Pepsi Max cola with, yes, the taste of ginger!

Give me an entire forest
A minced-meat stick filled with ham and cheese, coated in an orange layer of breadcrumbs, with the ends dipped in green ‘herbs’. Meat doesn’t get much more processed than this. But a little tree trunk like that… old-fashioned delicious with boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts!
