Addictively delicious: the new Lotus speculoos cookies
Attention, attention! We have a newcomer on the cookie shelf. And what a newcomer! These Lotus speculoos cookies are so addictively delicious that before you know it, you’ll have another roll in your gob.
Speculoos mousse, chocolate bars filled with speculoos, a speculoos tiramisu that’s so simple anyone can make it, or a cherry speculoos milkshake; quite a lot of speculoos, we know, but you can make some damn delicious things with it. Last week I came across this ultimate cookie, and immediately stocked up on about 10 rolls because they’re just that delicious.
Together in one
This Lotus creation brings the spread and the cookies together in one. Two crunchy speculoos cookies with a speculoos cream filling in between. And yes, it’s every bit as delicious as it sounds. By the way, did you know that Belgians have been eating speculoos from Lotus Biscoff for a very long time? The cookies were often used as a topping, sometimes crumbled and sometimes dipped in coffee first. Delicious? Yes. Convenient? No. So why not turn it into a spread? Said and done, and the speculoos spread was a fact.
Three varieties
Well, now you know that too. What are you waiting for? Head to the nearest supermarket, where you can get these delicious cookies for €1.50 per roll! And I’m almost forgetting the very best news: there are three different varieties. In addition to the speculoos cookies with a delicious, smooth speculoos filling in between, there’s also a vanilla cream and a chocolate cream filling available.
