Bring Something Along! 10 Times That Was a Terrible Idea
It sounds like such fun: an American-style party where every guest brings something delicious. But as these photos show, it can turn out terribly.

For starters: do you know what people get up to in their own kitchens? The slippers in the dishwasher don’t sound particularly appetizing to me, and the cat mistaking the rice cooker for its litter box isn’t exactly reassuring when it comes to hygiene either. And then there are those combinations: deviled eggs with tomato sauce, bizarre puddings, and croissants with… what’s in those? No, yuck—just give us an ordinary bag of crisps and a cold beer; we really don’t need anything more.
