Cheers! Aldi is now selling a wine advent calendar

Have you noticed? The advent calendars are back in stores. As always, there’s a wide selection, from a different granola bar every day to the slightly less healthy but very delicious advent calendar filled with wine. Thanks, Aldi—counting down to (a very boring?) Christmas just got a little more fun.

That Aldi sells very good wine for next to nothing is common knowledge among wine connoisseurs. Sommeliers regularly recommend an Aldi wine as their favorite inexpensive wine. And why stop at one bottle when you can stock up on 24? Especially now that after eight in the evening, you can’t order a decent glass anywhere.
From Rioja to Cava
Aldi has understood perfectly and has come up with a very appealing gift to count down to the holidays: 24 mini bottles of wine. Rosé, sparkling, red, white—everything makes an appearance in this advent calendar. From smooth to slightly fuller-bodied, all the familiar wine grapes are represented in this delicious calendar. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio…

A few euros
I raced to Aldi like crazy, because this calendar will naturally fly off the shelves. The wine advent calendar costs €49.99, which works out to about €2 per bottle. Cheers!
