Delicious! This hazelnut spread tastes like the inside of a Kinder Bueno

Do you know anyone who does NOT like Kinder Bueno? No, right? Kinder Bueno is a global favorite, after all. Period. That’s largely thanks to its incredible hazelnut filling. Good news for us lovers, because that filling is available in the form of a hazelnut spread for your bread.

Okay, let’s temper our expectations for a moment: it isn’t an exact one-to-one replica of the Kinder Bueno filling. It’s not a product from Ferrero or Kinder, the makers of the snack, either. But the product I’m talking about comes bizarrely close to the flavor of the hazelnut cream. Close your eyes and it’s almost as if you’re spooning out a Kinder Bueno.
Disappointments from the past
We were previously tempted by Uno Penotti (you know, from Duo Penotti). Some time ago, it launched a praline-flavored spread that was supposedly an awful lot like the inside of a Kinder Bueno. FavorFlav’s Wieke was seriously disappointed by it, though. This spread was nothing like Kinder Bueno. Bummer.
Even earlier, we were made extremely happy with a dead sparrow. Because some joker had cobbled together an image of a jar of Kinder Bueno spread—something that turned out not to exist at all. How much pain can one person endure?!

Fortunately, we’ve had better luck with Delinut milk and hazelnut spread, which you can buy at Aldi. As I said, this spread really does come close to the filling of a Kinder Bueno. The flavor of a Kinder Bueno is obviously only complete when you also taste the crunchy chocolate wafer with it, but hey; Delinut has genuinely done a great job here. Especially when you consider that for just €1.99, you’ll be in seventh heaven.

Buying Delinut
Now I may have to disappoint you a little, much to my regret. This is a regional Aldi product, after all. That means it isn’t available at every Aldi store. So check whether you’re one of the lucky ones. Otherwise, I have another tip for you that’s also a Kinder Bueno filling lookalike: Nocciolata Bianca Hazelnut Spread. A little more expensive than the Aldi spread, but at least as delicious. (Here in the editorial office, we unanimously agree that Nocciolata is the best chocolate spread in the world, just saying.)
