Do you also get completely crazy over aluminium foil getting stuck and tearing? This trick helps

gefrustreerd in de keuken

How annoying is it when you want to tear off a piece of aluminium foil and a little point remains stuck to the roll (which you usually don’t notice straight away), and you then unroll a piece that keeps getting smaller while an increasingly larger section remains stuck to the roll? Answer: insanely infuriating. So irritating that, after five minutes of fiddling with that one tiny stuck point from ten layers ago that will never come loose, I want to smash something with the entire damn roll.

But apparently, none of that is necessary. Thanks, TikTok. After many other hacks shared on TikTok that have helped solve small and large household frustrations, there’s now also a trick for freeing that stupid stuck and tearing aluminium foil:

Apparently, it’s this simple

And it’s astonishingly simple! We do wonder whether people who, for example, get the jitters from scraping sounds or splintering metal can tolerate it, but if you’re made of iron, you just power through. Just watch this video; you don’t need anything else besides the roll of aluminium foil itself (provided you haven’t already thrown it out the window)… Simply make a little ball and rub it over the edges that have worked themselves stuck (the idiots).

Very handy! Now we just have to wait until our roll of foil inevitably gets another masochistic urge to completely destroy itself, and then we’ll apply this trick immediately.
