The only word we want to hear on a sweltering summer day is frozen. Frozen Gin-Rosé, frozen Aperol, frozen choco yoghurt bites, frozen Margarita pie: you name it, we want it.

This ice cream recipe couldn’t be any easier. The only thing you need to have in your freezer is a bag of frozen fruit. Then just find that essential Microplane grater in your kitchen drawer (among all the handy kitchen gadgets).

Whether it’s strawberries, pineapple, mango or peach, as long as the fruit comes from the freezer, you’re good to go. Grab a bowl, grate the frozen fruit with the Microplane and watch it turn into a mountain of ice. The result: a little sorbet-like, but fluffy. Bonus tip: put the bowl in the freezer beforehand too.

TikToker Frankie Gaw tops the ice with condensed milk, finely chopped peanuts and black sesame seeds. But of course, you can sprinkle any other tasty toppings on it too. Refreshing, creamy and sweet all at once: amazing!
