McDonald’s launches collaboration with beauty brand
Who says beauty and Big Macs don’t go together? Exactly, no one. And so McDonald’s is launching its own beauty products. Unfortunately, it’s not (yet?) a lip gloss or balm with Big Mac flavour, but it’s at least just as fun. My favourite fast-food chain has teamed up with Nails.INC and the name says it all: together, they’re launching nail polish stickers.
Shoemaker, stick to your last? Not if McDonald’s has anything to do with it. They previously had a collaboration with Crocs and with clothing brand BALR. Just to name a few examples. And now Maccie nail polish stickers are available to buy.
It’s not McDonald’s’ first time on your nails
Still, this isn’t the first time they’ve ventured into beauty: in August 2023, they even had a pop-up studio in Vienna where you could have your nails done. You could have your nails painted here in colours such as Sour Cream, Sweet and Sour Sauce or Ketchup — I personally think that’s hilarious. But if you really want to be on trend, you can now buy stickers for your nails. These are available online in the United States, but fortunately they also ship to the Netherlands.
You can shop the entire collection via the Nails.INC website, and it’s very affordable, which did surprise me — I expected it to be much more expensive. For €8.99, for example, you get the famous red McDonald’s colour, including stickers to make your nails completely Maccie-proof. That way, you can stick fries and burgers on your nails. But for the same price (I don’t entirely understand that logic either), you can also get the brown colour — and all those stickers as well.
