The best way to use up pickle juice: make Pickle Martinis

For the pickle lovers among us: you can do something exciting with pickle juice. What if I told you that you can make a Pickle Martini with it? Now that’s a surprise at your next cocktail party. That is, if the guests are pickle lovers too.

If you’re a real pickle junkie, you probably drink pickle juice down to the last drop. (Maybe you even buy it in cans if you find the juice just as heavenly as the pickle itself.) But why stop at the juice when you can transform it into a cocktail? This Pickle Martini is an unconventional variation on the classic Martini. A Martini with a twist, if you will. You have to be into it, but as I said: as a diehard pickle fan, you can hardly do otherwise.
How to make a Pickle Martini cocktail
Making a Pickle Martini is super simple. Grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with approximately 60 milliliters (2 oz) of gin, a splash of dry vermouth and approximately 30 milliliters (1 oz) of pickle juice. Add plenty of ice to your cocktail shaker and shake until the shaker is thoroughly chilled. This takes about 30 seconds. Pour it into your favorite Martini glass and serve with—of course—extra pickles.

More Martinis, please
If you’re just as much of a Martini maniac as you are a pickle fan, I can imagine you can’t wait to serve more Martinis at your cocktail party. You obviously know the Pornstar Martini and Espresso Martini, but have you ever made a Crème Brûlée Martini? Or a (completely in autumn style) Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini? And if you want to celebrate your party with an extra pickle-themed touch… then the pickle cheesecake must not be missing, of course.
