Hot dog eating world record holder Joey Chestnut has done it again: the American stuffed himself silly with hot dog buns and can once again call himself the winner of the infamous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in New York.

Dozens of contestants tried to cram down hot dogs as quickly as possible, but Joey once again walked away with the top prize. Yes, again, because this is the fifteenth time this year that Joey’s stomach managed to hold the most hot dogs. 63 hot dog buns in 10 minutes — let that sink in for a moment.

Shameless

Joey is no amateur. In 2020, he ate 75 hot dogs, and the year before that, 74. In 2021, he was at his strongest: 76 sausages in buns went down the hatch. Seen that way, you could say this was a lean year for Joey: 63 hot dogs — he really ought to be ashamed of himself…
