How to get every last bit out of the peanut butter jar

Is that jar of peanut butter really empty? Not quite, but you really can’t get another slice of bread’s worth out of it. So how do you get the last bit of peanut butter out of the corners of that nearly empty jar without getting your fingers completely covered in peanut butter? There’s a brilliant trick for that.

Thanks to TikTok, we know how to make dalgona coffee , how to remove white bits from a chicken breast and how to easily poach eggs. This kitchen hack also comes from TikTok. Peanut butter jar nearly empty, but not quite? Thanks to the magic of centrifugal force, you can get even the last drop of peanut butter out of the jar.
Spin it really hard
@ssarahhgracee spins the half-empty jar of peanut butter incredibly fast across the smooth floor in the TikTok video. Luckily, she’s smart enough to do it on the floor and not on the counter, because a spinning jar of peanut butter that splatters from the counter onto the kitchen floor would be a huge mess. When she opens it after spinning the jar around ten, or maybe even twenty times, all the peanut butter is right under the lid again. It looks just like a new jar! Sarah is happy, but the 48,000 people who watched her video on TikTok probably are too.
Give it a try
The trick had already been shared on TikTok by @shopsplat. But he isn’t the inventor either, because in the video you hear him say, ‘I saw someone do it, so I might as well try it’. Whatever the story behind this hack: you can certainly give it a try, because a half-empty, dried-out jar of peanut butter isn’t much use either.
