You really want to try this new custard from Lidl

A bowl of custard? Yes, please! The cartons of apple pie custard from Jumbo aren’t finished yet, or I’ve already stocked up on a new batch of Lidl’s new custard flavours. This time, one with salted caramel and one with speculaas.

We love Lidl. After a trip to this supermarket, our kitchen cupboards and fridges are always filled to the brim with delicious things again. The yellow-and-blue supermarket has delicious ham and cheese croquettes, Toblerone ice creams and sausages with Guinness flavour in its range. And, well, even for handy kitchen gadgets such as mini deep fryers and churro makers, Lidl is the place to be.
Autumn custard
Now that autumn has begun, it’s time for the supermarket to add a number of Delicieux products to its range again. Including, of course, this new custard. The caramel flavour is lightly salted and contains pieces of chocolate—are you already salivating? The other custard has the flavour of speculaas with pieces of almond. True autumn custard, according to the supermarket. Both flavours are now available in stores and cost 1.39 per carton. If the shelf is empty, blame me… I stocked up big…
